We are a well-known HVAC, plumbing and electrical company with more than 30 years of service in Eastern North Carolina and we need technicians who can get it right the first time. We offer great working hours, and even better leadership. This is truly a great company to work for. We do mostly residential service work with plenty of change-outs, start-ups and a bit of light commercial work. Job Description
Cleaning, adjusting and repairing HVAC systems, and performing warranty services.
Troubleshooting defective HVAC systems and equipment to make diagnoses.
Performing preventative maintenance by cleaning, monitoring and calibrating air handling units — and by cleaning coils.
Improving air quality by cleaning ducts to optimize efficiency.
Fixing, replacing and adjusting vents and duct work.
Ensuring condensation drain lines are free of debris and draining properly.
Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Keeping daily logs and records of maintenance functions.
Maintaining a service truck.
Ensuring compliance with appliance standards within the Health and Safety Act.
Qualifications desired
High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
At least two years of commercial HVAC experience.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in reading schematics and work plans.
Ability to work after hours, on weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
Physically agile, dexterous and able to work in confined spaces.
We are a well-known HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical service company located in Johnston County for more than 30 years. As we continue to grow by leaps and bounds, so does our need for quality people to join our team. We are seeking a dependable person to manage Accounts Receivable. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable with at least 3 years of experience in this field.
Job Responsiblities:
- Process and post customer payments to appropriate accounts
- Review and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with customer payments
- Prepare and send out invoices to customers
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing or payment-related inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and interactions
Qualifications Desired:
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Previous experience in financial services or corporate accounting preferred
- Knowledge of account reconciliation and technical accounting practices
- Familiarity with public accounting standards and regulations
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks, for data entry and reporting
- Excellent 10-key typing skills for accurate and efficient data entry
